Charlotte Paisley McCune, 85, of Duncan Falls formerly of Malta, passed away on Sat. Jan. 27, 2018 at the Cedar Hills Nursing Center in Zanesville, Ohio. She was born on Nov. 5, 1932 in Rich Hill near Cumberland in Muskingum County to the late Harley and Muriel Gallogly Paisley. She was a beautiful person inside and out. Her infectious smile and laughter would light up any room. She was sincere and kind and incredibly giving towards others. She was devoted to her family, friends and to serving her church. She loved to bake and cook with her children and grand children and would often recount many wonderful memories made over the years in the kitchen and on the family farm. She will be remembered for her compassion and beautiful spirit. She was a member of the Philo United Methodist Church and was a youth group advisor, a 4-H advisor and loved gardening. She is survived by a son Duane (April) McCune of Malta, 2 daughters, Barb (Eric) Dew of Hackney and Amy (Larry) Radcliffe of Zanesville, a brother, Richard (Lola) Paisley of Zanesville, 2 sister-in-laws, Pearl Paisley of Daytona, Fl and Lucille Shook of Duncan Falls, 12 grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and 6 step-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Carl "Bud" McCune, sister, Eileen Wilson and a brother, Edwin Paisley. Services will be held on Weds, Jan. 31, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Mike Wells officiating at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville. Burial will follow in the Ark Springs Cemetery.
