Cherie Novaria Rex, 56 of Blue Rock, passed away on Fri, Aug. 9, 2024 at her residence.  She was born on Dec. 27, 1967 in Zanesville, Ohio to Rodger and Andrea Lynn Novaria.  She worked for the Morgan Local School District where she was a teacher for over 30 years and helped Jason on the family farm.  She was a member of the Pisgah Church, the Ohio Education Association and loved spending time with her kids and grandchildren.  She is survived by her mother, Andrea Novaria of Malta, her husband of 23 years, Jason Rex of the home, 2 daughters, Sydney (Trace) Schaad of McConnelsville and Bradi Rex of Blue Rock, a brother, James (Shannon) Novaria of Columbus, 2 sisters, Christy (Bob) Jones of Malta and Connie (Gary) Zumbro of Stockport, 2 grandchildren, Blair and Indie and several nieces, nephews and friends. She is preceded in death by her father.  Services will be held on Tues. Aug. 13, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at the Pisgah Ridge Church with burial following in the Pisgah Cemetery.  Friends may call on the family on Mon.
