Cheryl S. Williamson, 75, of Malta, passed away on Sun, Nov. 27, 2022 at her residence.  She was born on April 11, 1947 in Athens, Ohio to the late Samuel and Doris Culver Souders.  She is survived by her step-father, Lee Hambel, a son, Troy Winegardner of Thornville, a daughter, Gerry Winegardner Mattis of Thornville and a grandson, Derrick Mattis of Thornville.  She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Robert Williamson, a brother, Dennis Kamento and a sister, Vicki Pastel.  A caring cremation is taking place at her request.  Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville is handling the arrangements.
