Christian C. Troyer, 79, of Chesterhill, passed away on June 15, 2017 at his residence. He was born on Oct. 29, 1937 in Atlantic, Pa. to the late Christian D. and Judith Hochstetler. He was a retired truck driver and trained horses. He attended the Malta Bible Church in Malta and was a proud member of the NRA. He is survived by his son Christopher James Troyer of North Carolina, a brother, Ben Troyer of Pearisburg, Va, 3 sisters, Judith Hochstetler of Hillsboro, Wis, Edith Byler of Ashland, Oh and Fran Beechy of Chesterhill, Oh, 2 half-sisters, Sarah Byler of Punxsutawney, Pa and Ester Hostetler of Hadley, Pa. and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, 4 half-brothers, 3 sisters and 3 half-sisters. A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 19, 2017 at 12:00 P.M. (Noon) at the Oak Grove Cemetery in Hartville, Oh.
