Christopher A. “Buck” Weiner, 50, of McConnelsville, passed away on Sat. Sept. 12, 2026 at the Riverside Landing Care Center. He was born on Feb. 7, 1976 in Zanesville to the late Lawernce and Judith Haren Weiner. He was a member of the St. James Catholic Church in McConnelsville and attended the Mary Hammond Workshop. He was part of the 1987 Sunday night movie fight for life and loved Wheel of Fortune, playing with his rope and his games, Simon and Speak and Spell. He is survived by a brother, Chip Weiner of McConnelsville and a sister, Julie Brooker of McConnelsville. He is preceded in death by his parents. A Catholic Mass will take place on Sat, Oct. 10, 2026 at 10:00 A.M. at the St. James Catholic Church in McConnelsville with burial following in the McConnelsville, Cemetery. Matheney Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
