Clara L. Fiedler Jackson, 92, of Malta, Ohio, passed away on Tues. Jan 24, 2017 at the Adams Lane Care Center in Zanesville. She was born on August 19, 1924 in Old Washington, Ohio to the late Alois and Barbara Hribal Fiedler. She worked in the accounting dept. for Sears in Chicago in her early years and then became a homemaker after her children were born. She is survived by a son Donald R. Jackson of Malta, a daughter, Mary E. Crouthers of Barberton, Ohio and a sister, Libbie Adam of Harrison, Ark. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Donald R. Jackson Sr., a daughter, Carolyn M. Jackson, a brother, Millard Fiedler and a sister, Ella M. Jackson. Services will be held on Sat. January 28, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville. Burial will follow in the Malta Cemetery. Friends may call on the family from 9-11 A.M. on the day of the funeral.
