Cledis F. Venoy, 84, of Zanesville, Passed away on Sunday, March 25, 2018 at the Highland Oaks Nursing Home in McConnelsville. He was born on Feb. 6, 1934 in Milton, West Virginia to the late Lemuel and Faye Stowasser Venoy. He worked in the maintenance department for Longaberger in Dresden. He was a long time Pastor of the Pilgrim Bible Church in Malta and was the Superintendent of the Malta Christian School. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Nancy Burchett Venoy of the Home, 2 sons, David Venoy of McConnelsville and Matthew S. (Kelly) Venoy of Zanesville, 2 daughters, Shelly (Mike) Duncan of McConnelsville and Krystal (Scott) Sergent of McConnelsville, 1 sister, Carole (Ronnie) Fouts of Malta, 10 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Weds. March 28, 2018 from 6-8 P.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville. Burial will be at a later date and time.
