Clifford Bailey, 80, passed away Fri. June 20, 2025 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus. He was born Sept. 1, 1944 to the late Ben Bailey and Carolina "Linna" Smith in Salyersville, KY. He was a member of Lockbourne Freewill Baptist Church, enjoyed coon hunting, planting his garden and NASCAR racing. He is survived by 2 sons, Steve (Denise) Bailey and John (Lori) Bailey both of Columbus; stepson, Randy (Susie) Boggs of Stockport; daughter, Sandy Baldwin of McConnelsville; brothers, Millard Bailey of Salyersville and Dillard Bailey of Columbus; 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Carol Hicks Bailey; stepson, Ronald Boggs; brother, Willard Bailey; sisters, Juanita Bell and Wanda Owens; granddaughter, Carrie Baldwin; infant granddaughters, Amber and Amanda Bailey; and step grandson, Ryan Horner. Funeral Service will be Wed. June 25, 2025 at 12:00 Noon at Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with Pastor Steve Hicks officiating; burial to follow at Tabor Ridge Cemetery.
