Obituary

McConnelsville Crystal Dawn Hoover, 29 of Stockport passed away Friday, Feb 11, 2011 at Marietta Memorial Hospital from injuries sustained in a car accident near Stockport. She was born September 19, 1981 in Marietta, the daughter of Susan Thomas Hoover and Marvin (Butch) Hoover. She was employed at the restaurant(Main Street Cafe in McConnelsville) owned by her grandmother Maxine Thomas, with whom she shared an especially close bond. She was a fan of the Ohio State Buckeyes and enjoyed camping, spending time with family and friends and attending the Hookahville music festivals. In recent months, Crystal had made great efforts in overcoming past troubles and was finally leading the life she dreamed of for so long,sharing it with her partner Dustin and son Shay.She especially looked forward to spending more time with her Nieces Carri and Kylea. A loyal friend and sister,Crystal will be missed by all who knew her. She was a member of the LAVFW 4713 in Malta. She was preceded in death by three uncles Dewey (Buddy) Thomas, Bill Thomas and James Parkhurst and cousin Dustin Davis, She is survived by her beloved son Shay Michael Lee Sanders of the home, her partner in love and life Dustin Omspach of the home, mother Susan Hoover (Jack Clifton) of Stockport, father Marvin (Butch) Hoover of Beverly, brother Corey Hoover of McConnelsville, sister Casee Hoover (John Carpenter) of Stockport, nieces Carri and Kylea Holloway and nephew JJ Carpenter of Stockport, half brother Shane Cline of Cleveland , half sisters Maggie and Abby Hoover of Beverly, four aunts Sandy Parkhurst, Marci Murphy, Nanclyn Thomas, all of Morgan County and Beth Goldhart of Columbus, uncle Brad Hoover of Waterford, Ohio cousins Jayne and Trevor Parkhurst , Chelsea Murphy and Bryan McDaniel, Josh Davis , Aron and Adrienne Thomas, Troy Wolfand wife Seneca and children Richard and Ryder Wolf, Brian Goldhart, Chad and Katheryn Crumbaker and son Chase, maternal grandmother Maxine Thomas of McConnelsville and Esther Gesterling of Florida. Friends may call 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, Feb 14, 2011 at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville where services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, Feb 15, 2011 with Pastor Galen Finley officiating. Burial will be in Deerfield Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with funeral expenses.
