Crystal E. Clarke Murnahan, 56, of Springfield formerly of Malta died on Tuesday, March 24, 2015 at the Springfield Regional Medical Center. She was born on July 14, 1958 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Ralph and Lena Forester Clarke. She spent her life as a homemaker taking care of her children and family. She is survived by her husband, John Murnahan of the home, 1 son, Jeremy (Brandy) Clarke of Columbus, 3 daughters, Tonya (Robert Burchnell) Stant of Newark, Teyka Stant of Springfield and Mirlie (James Harper) Harris of Springfield, 2 brothers, Ralph Clarke and Mickey Clarke both of Malta, 1 sister, Twilia Murnahan of Springfield, 9 grandchildren and special daughter Coral Bentley of Springfield. She is preceded in death by her parents. Services will be held on Friday, March 27, 2015 at 1:00 P.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with burial following in the Malta Cemetery. Friends may call on the family from 11-1 P.M. on the day of the funeral at the funeral home.
