Daisy O. Irvin, 84, of Chesterhill, passed away Fri. Sept. 4, 2026, at Highland Oaks in McConnelsville. She was born Aug. 18, 1942, to the late Edgar and Ruth Snyder Kaltenbach in Chillicothe, OH. She was a homemaker and seamstress and was a member of the Salvation Army in Chillicothe. She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Patrick Irvin of the home; 4 sons, Frank Irvin of Nelsonville, Stacey Irvin of Pennsville, Nick (Carrie) Irvin of Rushville, and Michael (Kathy) Irvin of McConnelsville; 4 daughters, Heidi (Burl) Sparkman of Chesterhill, Teresa Thomas of Florida, Joanna Parks of Chillicothe, and Ashley Parks of Beverly; a sister, Frannie Kaltenbach of Marietta; 15 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents; 2 brothers, Bobby and Charles; sister, Ada; grandson, JR “Bobby” Thomas; and nephew, Douglas Kaltenbach. Funeral Service will be Sat. Sept. 12, 2026, at 1:00 P.M. at Stone-Matheney Funeral Home; burial following at Chesterhill Cemetery. Friends may call on the family from 11-1 on the day of the services.
