Obituary

Dale A. Kennedy, 91 of Zanesville, died Monday, June 1, 2009 at his residence. He was born on June 19, 1917 in Amesville to the late Grover and Roxie Croston Kennedy. He was a farmer, a coal miner, and retired from the Cooper Corporation in Zanesville. He was a member of the Bethel Wesleyan Church in Bartlett. He is survived by his wife Glenna Tate Kennedy of the Home, one brother, James Kennedy of Camp Springs, Maryland. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Peggy Sue Kennedy, one brother, Robert Kennedy, three sisters, Ursula Grant, Dency Stevens, and Eileen Freeman. Services will be held Sat., June 6, 2009 at 11:00a.m. at the Bethel Wesleyan Church near Bartlett, burial will be in the Mt. Hermon Cemetery. Friends may call on Friday, June 5, 2009 from 2-4 and 7-9p.m. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill.
