Dana L. Gibeaut, 78, of McConnelsville passed away at 9:45 a.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2106 at the Muskingum Valley  Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Beverly. He was born July 8, 1938 in Morgan County to the late Wilmer Gibeaut and Wilda Spencer Gibeaut Dailey. Dana was the former owner and operator of G.E.I. Sanitation of McConnelsville and was a life long farmer. He was a member of the McConnelsville Eagles Club and the Pisgah United Methodist Church. He was also a member of the Teamsters Construction Industry Union.  He is survived by two daughters, Mary Ann Bogatay of McConnelsville and Susan Gibeaut of  Caldwell, two sons Michael L. Gibeaut and Matthew Gibeaut both of McConnelsville; two sisters, Nina Lawrence and Martha McDaniel  both of McConnelsville; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Maryanne Walsh Gibeaut, a son, Mark Allen Gibeaut and a brother, Allen Gibeaut. Calling hours will be Friday November 25, 2106 from 11:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home where funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. with Pastor Galen Finley  officiating.  Dana will be laid to rest beside his wife in McConnelsville Cemetery.
