Dana K. "Danny" Tabler, 75 of Athens, passed away on Mon, June 10, 2024.  He was born on Nov. 10, 1948 in Zanesville, Oh to the late Shirl and Leora Flowers Tabler.  He was a Gas Attendant at Ruby's Truck Stop in Guysville for man years before retiring from the Timber business.  He was a member of the Kilvert Church of Christ.  He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Patricia McAtee Tabler of the home, 2 sons, Danny Tabler of Guysville and Dustin Tabler of Cutler, a daughter, Amanda Tabler of Nelsonville, a brother, Eugene Tabler of Kilvert, 3 sisters, Linda Mayle of Sharpsburg, Cheryl Harvey of Bartlett and Deitra Tabler of Stewart, 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.  Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill is handling a caring cremation at the family's request.
