Daniel William Bywater, 47, of Stockport died Thursday, May 2, 2013, at Grant Hospital in Columbus from injuries sustained in an auto accident on May 1, 2013.

He was born August 25, 1965, in St. Clairsville to Barbara Pugh Bywater of Stockport and the late William Bywater.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by his wife of 20 years, Sandy McCumbers Bywater; two daughters, Amanda Bywater of Dayton and Brittney Bywater of Malta; two sisters, Velma Janes of McConnelsville and Shirley Bywater of Columbus; four step-daughters, Casey Patterson, Carla Strasbaugh (Mike), Amanda Radabaugh (Brandon), and Kayla Bennett (Craig ; four step-sons, Anthony (Tony) Cottrill (Melissa), Earl Waggy Jr. (Ann), Jason Waggy (Mollie), and Jesse Waggy (Kayla); and 19 grandchildren.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Chester Bywater.

Calling hours will be Thursday, May 9, from 6-8 p.m. at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home. A caring cremation will take place after the visitation.

Daniel gave the gift of life through organ and tissue donation.
