Darlene B. Norris, 79, of Amesville, passed away Tues. July 23, 2024 at Camden Clark Hospital in Parkersburg. She was born Jan. 22, 1945 to the late Aaron and Grethel (Baker) Parsons in Zanesville, OH.  She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Melvin Norris of the home, daughters, Charlene Parsons of Chesterhill and Tracy Norris of Amesville, brother, Alfred Parsons of Chesterhill, sister, Nina Mayle of Cutler, 6 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Randy Norris, brother Robert Parsons, sisters, Orfa Jenkins, Lola Parsons, and Allie Mayle.  Funeral service will be held Sat. July 27, 2024 at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Hermon Church, burial following at Mt. Hermon Cemetery.  Friends may call on the family on Fri.
