David G. Davis, 66, of Chesterhill, passed away on Sat. Aug. 5, 2017 at the Ohio State University Hospital. He was born on Aug. 16, 1950 in Zanesville to Helen S. Richardson Kincaid and William H. Davis. He retired from Southern Ohio Coal Company in Meigs County, Ohio. He attended the Bible Baptist Church in Bartlett. He is survived by his wife, Marlene Vincent Davis of the home, mother, Helen S. Richardson Kincaid of Malta, a son, Brian (Mary) Davis of Huntsville, a daughter, Angie (Ron) Driggs of Pataskala, a brother, Christopher Kincaid of Malta, 4 grandchildren, Joshua (Brittany) Driggs, Lyndsie Driggs, Isaiah Davis and Silas Davis, a great grandson Hudson Allen Hill, many nieces, nephews and many brother and sister-in-laws. He is preceded in death by his father and his step-father, Fred E. Kincaid. A private graveside service will be held at the Mt. Hermon Cemetery near Amesville.
