David E. Eddleblute, 73, of Stockport, passed away on Thurs, July 27, 2023 at the Select Specialty Hospital in Newark, Ohio.  He was born on Oct 7, 1949 in Marietta, Ohio to the late Paul and Donna Mummey Eddleblute.  He worked at Gould and then retired from Miba Bearings after 49 years.  He also started and ran his own business Eddleblute Excavating in 1977.  He loved working on his old cars and boating on the river.  He is survived by 2 sons, Scott and Dusty Eddleblute both of Stockport, a daughter, Tabitha Eddleblute of Stockport, a brother, Brent Eddleblute of Cutler and 4 grandchildren, Reece, Rance, Ryann and Oliver.  He is preceded in death by his parents.  A caring cremation is taking place at his request.  Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville is handling the arrangements.   To send a note of condolence go to www.matheneyfh.com.
