David E. Hampton 44, of McConnelsville passed away at 3:15 p.m. September 29, 2014 at his home. He was born March 25, 1970 in Nelsonville the son of the late Ruth Judson and Edgar Hampton Sr. He is survived by a daughter Jessica Hampton of McConnelsville; sisters Debbie (Lee) Newburn of Chesterhill , Linda (Randy) Campbell of McConnelsville; brothers Gary (Dee) Hampton of Malta and Edgar Hampton Jr. of McConnelsville; nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by twin sons Brandon and Shannon Hampton. Calling hours will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday October 1, 2014 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Fairview Holliness Church near Burr Oak with Pastor Arnold Van Horn officiating. Burial will follow in the Church Cemetery.
