STOCKPORT: David Wayne Konkler, age 43, of Stockport, OH, died Friday, May 8, 2009 at 3:45 p.m. at Ohio State University Hospital, Columbus. He was born October 13, 1965 in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico to James "Joe" Konkler and Beverly "Jane" Konkler. He worked as a Dispatcher for Deaton Trucking in Burmingham, Alabama. David was also a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He is survived by his wife Amy Horner Konkler, parents, James "Joe" and Beverly "Jane" Konkler of Norwich; grandmother, Beverly Reed of Zanesville; three daughters, Kendra Freeman of Howe, TX, Danielle and Emilee Konkler both of Stockport; two brothers, James "Mike" Konkler of Stockport and Tim Wyatt of Zanesville; two sisters, Misti Hurst of Norwich, and Jennifer West of McConnelsville; one granddaughter, Alianna Freeman of Howe, TX. He was preceded in death by one brother, Bryan Wyatt. Services will be held Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at 7:00p.m. at the Matheney Funeral Home (McConnelsville), with visitation from 5-7p.m., Elder Greg Marquist officiating. Veteran services will be provided by the Morgan County Veteran Association.
