David R. O'Brien, Sr., 76, of Stockport passed away at 4:20 a.m. Saturday, August 6, 2016 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta. He was born March 12, 1940 in Akron to the late Harry O'Brien and Juanita Lowe O'Brien Orr. David was a retired pipe fitter and was a member of the Plumbers & Pipe Fitters Union Local #219 of Akron. He was also a U. S. Air Force Veteran. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Rebecca "Becky" Nolan O'Brien, a daughter Colleen (Donald) Shook of Stockport, two sons David O'Brien, Jr. and Charles O'Brien both of Stockport, three grandchildren Shawn O'Brien of Belpre, Myranda Robison of Delaware, and Dustin Hall of Mt. Vernon, two great grandchildren Willow Robison and Marley Robison. Calling hours will be Tuesday, August 9, 2016 from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home.
