David E. Smith 62, of McConnelsville passed away at 5:44 a.m. November 22, 2022 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. He was born April 15, 1960 in Zanesville to David Smith and Rita J. Pride Smith. He  worked for McDonalds in Maintenance for 25 years and loved to ride motorcycles. He is survived by his mother, Rita; children, Desiree Smith of Stockport, Carol Schultheisz of Marietta, Davie Smith of McConnelsville;  six grandchildren; three step grandchildren; former wife, Renea Smith of McConnelsville; sisters, Twana Bhayani, Lisa Smith; brothers, Morgan Smith and Hollie Smith. Friends may call 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday, November 29, 2022 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville where services will be held at 4:00p.m.  Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
