David L. "Tiny" Waite, 62, of McConnelsville, passed away at 5:10 p.m. Thursday March 29, 2012 at the Highland Oaks Health Center in McConnelsville.

He was born January 24, 1950 in Zanesville to the late Donald Ray Waite and Rebecca White Waite of McConnelsville.

David was a retired heavy equipment operator and was a member of the Ohio Operating Engineers Union.

In addition to his mother, he is survived by a step-daughter, Darlene Marie Harris of Zanesville; two sisters, Dena (Charles) Mueller of Riverbend, NC, and Darla (Gary) Mummey of Stockport; a brother, Donald (Mary) Waite of McConnelsville; two step-grandchildren, David and Dakota of Zanesville; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Danny Waite.

No services will be held at David's request and a caring cremation will take place.
