Debbie L. Smith, 68, of Chesterhill, passed away on Weds. Jan. 23, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Nov. 21, 1950 in Chesterhill, Ohio to Gerald and Geraldine Harris Tabler. She worked for B.F. Goodrich in Marietta and was a member of Olive Chapel Church near Amesville. She is survived by her mother, Geraldine "Tootsie" Tabler of Marietta, 2 daughters, Stephanie Mayle of Chesterhill and Niki Gibson of Dyer, In, 3 brothers, Paul Tabler of Bedford, Jeff Tabler of Belpre and Joe Tabler of Marietta, 1 sister, Jeri Jean Pickett of Warrensville Heights, 3 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her father, husband Steve Smith and a brother, Gary Tabler. Services will be held on Sun, Jan 27, 2019 at 1:30 P.M. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill with Pastor Junior Walker officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hermon Cemetery.
