Derek Glenn Lydelle, 38, passed away unexpectedly Sunday, June 22, 2025.  Derek was a loving Husband to Amy Goins Lydelle and father to 3 amazing boys, Dominic, Letrelle and Aiden.  Derek loved spending time with his 3 boys, rather it was supporting them in there're sports or just spending time at home watching movies, OSU football, or playing their favorite video games together.  There wasn't a person Derek would meet that he didn't put a smile on their face with his quick jokes or Whitty personality.  Derek was always there for anyone who needed him and was always willing to help out when needed.  Derek and his father-in-law Steve were really close.  Steve taught Derek a lot about working/fixing things.  Derek was like a son to Steve.  Derek will be loved and missed by so many.  Derek was born on Feb. 4, 1987 in Columbus, to Darrell and Patricia Carter Lydelle.  He worked at Miba Sinter in McConnelsville.  He is survived by his mother, Patricia (Mike May) Lydelle, wife of 12 years, Amy Goins Lydelle, 3 sons, Dominic (Mia Powell) Lydelle, Letrelle Lydelle and Aiden Lydelle, a daughter, Jadalyn Kratz, a brother Darrell (Brittany) Lydelle, a sister, Tanya (Mike) Hutchinson, aunt, Lorita Adams, Cousin Lori Miller, Special friends Thomas and Bonita Miller and the entire Mennonite community and several nieces and nephews.  He is preceded in death by his father, Darrell, cousin Shawn Adams and cousin Jillian Adams.  Services will be held on Mon. June 30, 2025 at 7:00pm at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville.  Friends may call on the family from 5-7 on the day of the services.
