Dolleta "Dolly" Bennett, 87, of Amesville, passed away Wed. Oct. 8, 2025 at Riverside Landing in McConnelsville. She was born Feb. 9, 1938 to the late James and Lena Jackson Norman in Parkersburg, WV. She worked on the family farm, was a homemaker and was a member of Mt. Hermon Church. She is survived by 3 sons, Dennis (Charlotte) Bennett of Amesville, Dave (Carolyn) Bennett of Amesville, and Daniel Bennett of Belpre; 2 daughters, Deana (Marvin) Clark of Beverly and Darlena (Everett) Clark of Amesville, 15 grandchildren and 28 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Rev. Delbert Bennett; son, Dale Bennett; 2 sisters, Rosalie Robb and Wilda Bungard; granddaughter, Leah Clark; and great-granddaughter Jennifer Bennett. Funeral service will be Sun. Oct. 12, 2025 at 2:00 P.M. at Mt. Hermon Church in Amesville with Pastor Mike Wells officiating, burial to follow at Mt. Hermon Cemetery. Friends may call on the family Sat. Oct. 11, 2025 from 2-4 P.M. and 6-8 P.M. at Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill, and one hour prior to services on Sunday.
