CHESTERHILL: Donald D. Ball, age 84, of Chesterhill, died at 3:40 a.m. Saturday May 9, at Genesis Health & Rehabilitation Center McConnelsville. He was born Dececember 16, 1924 at Wrightstown, Ohio, the son of Fred & Mamie Martin Ball. He was a Navy Veteran of WWII, a retired custodian from Marion Elementary School Chesterhill, and a member of the Wrightstown Christian Church, Amesville. He is survived by several nieces & nephews; a special friend, Dawn McVey and her family. Preceded in death by parents; and three sisters, Eva Ring, Gladys Wells and Goldie Ball. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 12, 2009 at 11:00 a.m. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home Chesterhill, with Pastor Archie McCune Officiating. Burial in Chesterhill Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral Home 2-4 & 7-9 on Monday May 11, 2009.
