Donna J. Danielson, 87, of 43 N. 9th Street, McConnelsville, passed away at 8:52 a.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2012 at the Marietta Memorial Hospital in Marietta.

She was born July 4, 1924 in Perry County, a daughter of the late Clifford Davis Sr. and Alice Campbell Davis.

She was a homemaker, a farm laborer, and she loved to sew and make quilts.

She is survived by three daughters, Naomi Welling of McConnelsville, Linda Clay of Malta, and Colleen Six of McConnelsville; a granddaughter she raised, Jean Ann Golcar of McConnelsville; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren; two sisters, Eileen Mitchell of Newark and Betty Anderson of New Lexington; and one brother, Charles Davis of Newark.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Floyd Danielson, who died on July 27, 2002; one infant sister; and one other sister, Margie Knies; four brothers, Clifford Davis Jr., Harold Davis, Richard Davis, and Edward Davis; and one grandchild.

Calling hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, May 17, at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville, where services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 18. Burial will follow in the Salem Cemetery.
