Doris Rainer, 96, of Lancaster formerly of Todds, passed away on Sun. Aug. 5, 2018 at the Fairfield Medical Center in Lancaster. She was born on Feb. 20, 1922 in Clear Spring, Missouri to the late Sanford and Flora Ann Fackler Hume. She was a homemaker and a member of the Athens Bible Church and attended the Calvary Baptist Church while living in Lancaster. She is survived by a step son, Paul Rainer of Stockport, 2 step-daughters, Lois (Dale) Schumacher of Stanford, Va. And Karen Rainer of Vallejo, Ca. She is preceded in death by her parents and husband Hiley Rainer. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Pennsville Cemetery. A memorial service will be held on Weds. Sept. 5, 2018 at 6:30 P.M. at the Athens Bible Church, 42 Poston Road, The Plains, Ohio. Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill is handling the arrangements.
