Dorothy M. Christy 91, of McConnelsville passed away at 8 :50 p.m. November 13, 2015 at Highland Oaks Health Center in McConnelsville. She was born Dec 19, 1923 in Carbon Hill the daughter of the late Edward Dawley and Verna Locke. She was retired from Ohio Dept. of Job and Family Services and a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in McConnelsville. She is survived by one daughter Linda (Mike) Newcome of McConnelsville, grandson Eddie Newcome of McConnelsville, brother Jim Dawley of Carbon Hill, Ohio. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Raymond E. Christy who died in 2002. Calling hours will be held from 11:00a.m. to 1 :00 p.m. Tuesday, November 17, 2015 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville where services will held at 1 :00p.m.. with Pastor Lee Ann Dunlap officiating.
