Dorothy Irene McInturf, 92, of Zanesville, formerly of McConnelsville, passed away on Monday, April 10, 2017 at the Genesis Hospital in Zanesville. She was born on Jan. 19, 1925 in McConnelsville, Ohio to the late Alva A. and Daisy Bauer Starrett. She worked as a housekeeper for the Elderly. She was a member of the Pennsville Church of Christ and then attended the 7th Street Church of Christ when she moved to McConnelsville. She is survived by 3 sons, Donald (Julia) McInturf of Chase City, Va, James McInturf of New Concord and Fred (Lois) McInturf of Chrisney, Ind, 2 daughters, Jean Ann McKown of Zanesville and Marilyn Queen of McConnelsville, 12 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Paul Blaine McInturf, infant daughter, a son Larry, 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Services will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2017 at 11:00 A.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with burial following in the Pennsville Cemetery. Friends may call on the family on Wednesday from 5-7 P.M at the funeral home.
