Dorothy Mae Dalton McKee, 95 of Zanesville, passed from this life on Thursday, Dec. 8, 2016 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on Dec. 2, 1921 in Stewart, Ohio to the late Janie Dalton Mayle. She was a homemaker, wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and friend to all. She cared for many of her family members with love. Everyone that knew her loved her. Leaving to cherish her memory and miss her greatly is her husband of 73years, Robert McKee of the home, 2 sons, Carlos McKee and Gary McKee both of Zanesville, 2 daughters, Madeline Morrow of New Philadelphia and Sherry McKee of Zanesville, a brother, Ezra Mayle of Marietta, 2 sisters, Pauline Walker of Chesterhill and Norma Butcher of Zanesville, 11 grandchildren, special grandson Chathon Hollins and 24 great grand children and special cousins, Florence Mayle of Cutler and Hazel Hill of Guysville. She is preceded in death by her mother, 6 brothers, 1 sister, 1 grandson, Phillip Morrow and her grand parents, Charlie and Mertie Tabler Dalton. Services will be held on Weds, Dec. 14, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill with pastor J.R. Walker officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hermon Cemetery.
