Dorothy N. Williams, 100, of Dayton, formerly of Chesterhill, died on Weds., Feb. 13, 2013 at 6:15 P.M. at her residence. She was born on September 15, 1912 in Elliots Crossroads to the late Austin and Lillian Dike Newburn. She was a schoolteacher and taught at the Homer Union High School, Marion High School and Marion Grade School. She is survived by one son, John (Stella) Williams of Dayton, one brother, George Newburn of Chesterhill, and two sisters, Alice "Sally" Kozma of Millfield and Isabel Calendine of Bristolville. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Russell Williams and one brother Frank Newburn. Services will be held on Monday, Feb. 18, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill. Burial will follow in the Chesterhill Cemetery.
