Doyle Dana Sealock, 98, of Reinersville, died at 9:00a.m. on Tuesday, January 25, 2011 at the Highland Oaks Nursing Home in McConnelsville. He was born in Reinersville on August 11, 1912 to the late Perley Sealock and Emma Spear Sealock Rodeback and attended Earlys Ridge School. He started working for the W.P.A. then the Lawrence King Stone Quarry of Caldwell, the Mosaic Tile Company in Zanesville until it went out of business, Skinner Tire in Beverly, Ava Brick Plant in Ava, Malta Manufacturing in Malta, Innerlake in Waterford, and retired from Manchester Township at the age of 85. He was a member of the Reinersville United Methodist Church in Reinersville. He is survived by one son James and Beverly Sealock of Pennsville, one daughter, Leda and Harold Green of Caldwell, one brother, Ewell Sealock of Belleview, two sisters, Rita Wheeler of Caldwell, and Anna Grace and Dale Rollison of Zanesville, one half sister, Mary and Dave Merry of Caldwell, 6 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife of 66 years Ruth Cain Sealock, one granddaughter, two brothers, Bernard and Denzil Sealock, one infant brother, Herbert, and three sisters, Clara Pickenpaugh, Helen Hill, and Thelma Parks. Services will be held on Friday, January 28, 2011 at 1:00p.m. at the Reinersville United Methodist Church. Burial will follow in the Reinersville Cemetery. Friends may call on the family on Thursday, January 27, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9p.m. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville and one hour prior to the services at the church.
