E. Yvonne "Runt" Finley, 83, of McConnelsville, passed away at 1:13 a.m. Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born November 9, 1929 in Morgan County to the late Clancy Woodard and Della Anderson Woodard. She was a homemaker for many years and worked in the family business of Finley Fire Equipment of McConnelsville. Yvonne was the former vice-president and assisted her husband and son in the daily operations of the company.She was a member of the Church Of The Gospel Ministry of McConnelsville and the Mel Mac CCL Mother's Club. She loved flowers and was an avid gardener. She is survived by a daughter, Cindy (Rick) Mansfield, and a son, John Walter (Angie) Finley, all of McConnelsville; four grandchildren, Anthony Mansfield and his fiance' Lauren Bishop of Cincinnati, Maranda (Dr. Justin) Cromwell of Urbanna, Lisa (Jacob) Comee of Houlton,WI, and Nick Finley of McConnelsville; two great-grandchildren, Gabriel Comee and Adalyn Cromwell; a sister, Vera (Max) Drake of McConnelsville; a half sister, Melissa Woodward of McConnelsville; a brother, Freddy (Sally) Woodard of Malta; two sisters-in-law, Freda Woodard of Waterford and Janet Finley of Duncan Falls; a brother-in-law, Galen Finley of McConnelsville; special nieces, Nancy Drake of McConnelsville and Cathy (John) Thompson of McConnelsville and daughters Kristen Blythe and Stefanie Hayes, both of Westerville; special family member, Lynn Smith; and loyal caregivers, Wilma Sams and Shana Sams Griffin, honorary grandson Brody, Tracy Newhart, and Darla McGrath and husband, Bryan.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John K. Finley, who died January 27, 2005; a daughter, Debby Finley, who died April 21, 1980; and a brother, Gene Shorty Woodard. Calling hours will be Thursday, June 6, from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Church of the Gospel Ministry in McConnelsville, where funeral services will be held Friday, June 7, at 11 a.m., with Pastor Galen Finley officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband and daughter in McConnelsville Cemetery.
