Earl Elliott Hutchins, 88, of McConnelsville, went to his heavenly home on March 28, 2017 at the Genesis Morison House Hospice. He was born on February 17, 1929, the son of Joseph Choral and Jessie Elliott Hutchins. He was Married to Martha Lou Drake in July of 1952. He was a WWII veteran who served in the U.S. Air Force. He retired several years ago from Central Ohio Coal Company. He was also employed by Graphite and a substitute bus driver for Morgan Local School District. He was a member of Valley Masonic Lodge #145 in Malta. He was preceded in death by his wife Martha, his daughter, Jane Hutchins, his parents, stepmother, Louise Walters Hutchins, and two brothers, Joseph and John Hutchins. Also his dogs of the past, Champ, Scooter and King. He is survived by his daughters, Pam (Jeff) Babcock of Beverly and Kay (George) Eppley of McConnelsville, a sister, Janet Coe of West Carrollton, Ohio and a brother Merlyn (Pat) Hutchins of Wellington, Ohio. Grandchildren, Jeffery (Fon) Babcock of McConnelsville, Melissa (Ryan) Gresham of Celina, Texas, Jesse Eppley of McConnelsville, Julie (Doug) Vandenbark of Zanesville, Wendy Armstrong of Malta, Holly (Scott Porter) Armstrong of Stockport. Great-grandchildren, Ashley and Carlee Gresham of Celina, Texas, York and Monkorn Sukchittham of McConnelsville, Anthony Eppley of Melbourne, Florida, Makenzie and Kate Vandenbark of Zanesville, Brittany Scholz of Malta and several nieces and nephews. Per his request no calling hours will be observed. A caring cremation will take place and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
