STOCKPORT - Edith Mae Fisher Eldridge, 93, of Stockport, Ohio, died at 2:47 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 30, 2010) at Riverside Country Care in McConnelsville. Born Sept. 18, 1917, in Waterford, Ohio, the daughter of the late Harley and Carrie Forrest Fisher. Retired Palmer Township clerk after 18 1/2 years. Member of the Oakland United Methodist Church. Surviving are one son, William Joseph (Ellen) Eldridge of Amherst, Ohio; five grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents; husband, William H. Eldridge; one daughter, Dorothy Cooper; and one grandson, William Eldridge Jr. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday (Nov. 4) in Dale Cemetery with the Rev. Dewayne Stutler officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Alzheimers Society or your favorite charity.
