Edna Juanita Fitch, 97, of the Highland Oaks Health Center in McConnelsville passed away Sunday, September 2,2012 at 10:10 p.m. at the nursing home. She was born October 25,1914 in Morgan County to the late Alfred Glass and Florence Harrison Glass. Edna was a homemaker and farmer and was a member of the Malta United Methodist Church. She is survived by a daughter, Mary Nichols of Malta; 2 grandsons, Steve (Linda) Nichols and Chris (Regina) Nichols both of Malta; 4 great- grandchildren, April, Shane, Jake and Joei; 5 great-great- grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband Charles Fitch, a sister Ruth Moore, a brother Cecil Glass, and a great-great- grandson, Jacob Lane. Calling hours will be Tuesday September 4,2012 from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville where funeral services will be held Wednesday September 5,2012 at 11:00 a.m. with Richard Ross officiating.
