Edward J. Weinert, 77, of McConnelsville, passed away on Fri, May 23, 2025 at his residence.  He was born on Jan. 4, 1948 in Dayton, Ohio to the late Marion and Rita Broeding Weinert.  He retired from General Motors Corp. in Dayton.  He is survived by his sister, Clarann Weinert of Cincinnatti and several friends from all over the country.  He is preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Paul Weinert.  Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville is handling a caring cremation at his request.
