Edwin L. Davis 68, of Malta, passed away at 5 :29 P.M. August 31, 2016 at Select Specialty Hospital In Newark. He was born June 22, 1948 in Morgan County the son of the late Forrest Davis and Norma Ashton Davis. He was the owner of Davis Upholstery in Malta, Marine Veteran of the Vietnam War, member of American Legion Post 24 in McConnelsville and the Church of the Gospel Ministry in McConnelsville. He is survived by his wife, Donna Kincaid Davis whom he married June 24, 1983, son Chad Davis, daughter, Kristy Davis, three granddaughters, Brother  and sister-in-law, Jim and Karen Kincaid, special friends, John and Kim Wilson and family. Calling hours will be held from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday, September 3, 2016 at Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville, where services will be held at 2:00 P.M. Sunday with Pastors, Galen Finley and Dan Hickerson officiating. Military rites will be following the service at the  funeral home. Burial will be held at a later date in Malta Cemetery.
