Effie E. Beard Dolan, 94, of Beard-Price Road, Glouster, OH, passed away at 11:43 a.m. Wednesday, May 8, 2013, at Highland Oaks Health Center, McConnelsville, OH. She was born May 19, 1918 in Glouster, OH, the daughter of the late Ernest and Mary Mills Beard. She was a homemaker, a cook for Homer-Union School, and a member of the Wrightstown Church of Christ. She is survived by one brother, Gerald Beard of Chesterhill, OH, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles (Pat) Dolan; her parents; and one brother, Charles Beard. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, May 14, at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill, OH. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, May 13, at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Mountville Cemetery near Chesterhill.
