Eiffel M. Gonzalez, 21 months, of 108-1/2 East Main Street, McConnelsville, died suddenly Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus.

He was born June 5, 2009, in Zanesville, a son of Abel Gonzalez and Ellen Nasir Gonzalez.

He attended the Stay-N-Play Early Learning Center in McConnelsville.

In addition to his parents of McConnelsville, he is survived by two brothers, Calvin Gonzalez of McConnelsville and Junior Gonzalez of Zanesville; a grandfather, Annastacio Gonzalez of Mexico; special friends Gary and Jane Combs of Hackney, Patty Montgomery of Stockport, Marco Tiburcio of McConnelsville, and the Stay-N-Play staff, especially Kristi.

He was preceded in death by grandparents, Maria Gonzalez, Muhammad Nasir and Riyem Nasir.

Services and burial were held at the Islamic Center Cemetery in Columbus.

Although Eiffel was with us a very short time, he touched many lives. Memorial contributions may be made to Nationwide Children's Hospital.
