E. Elaine Zumbro "Mother", 76 of Belpre, formerly of Dale, died on Sunday, December 25, 2011 at the Morrison House Hospice in Zanesville. She was born on October 17, 1935 in Stewart to the late Paul B. and Wilden Bennett Jarvis. In her early years she worked side by side with Sparky in the Timber Business and then retired from R.J.F. International in Marietta. She was a protestant by faith. She is survived by 2 sons, Donald Duane (Cindy) Zumbro of Stockport, and Dwight Leroy (Barbie) Zumbro of Vincent, 4 daughters, Ada C. (Kevin) Thomas of Cutler, Marilyn M. Zumbro (Bill Lamp) of Belpre, Cheryl A (Kevin) Skiver of Williamstown, and Trenda C. Zumbro of Hastings, Fl., 3 sisters, June Maxwell of McConnelsville, Esther (Bill) Heaston of Belpre and Rebecca (Gary) Tippie of Athens, 20 grandchildren and several great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Herbert (Sparky) Zumbro, 1 brother, 1 sister and 2 grandchildren. Services will be held on Thursday, December 29, 2011 at 12:00 P.M. at the Dale United Methodist Church in Dale with Rev. David Jackson officiating. Burial will follow in the Dale Cemetery. Friends may call on the family on Tuesday, December 27, from 7-9 P.M. and Wednesday, December 28, from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill and one hour prior to the services at the church on the day of the services.
