Eleanor Faye Ross, 85, of 43 N. 9th Street, McConnelsville, passed away at 3:30 p.m. Monday, March 28, 2011 at her home.

She was born March 17, 1926 in Zanesville, a daughter of the late Benjamin and Birdie Stoneburner Barringer.

She was a housewife and a former member of the Grace United Methodist Church in McConnelsville.

She is survived by one son, Jeff (Vicki) Ross of Glouster; three grandchildren, Leslie Ross, Shane Ross, and Shawn Ross; and one brother-in- law, Charles Eugene Lanning of Zanesville.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Ross, who died Nov., 29, 1964; one granddaughter, Susan Ross, who died in 1991; one son, Daryl Ross; her twin sister, Evelyn Maye Lanning; and a brother, Kermit Harold Barringer.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, March 30, at the Miller-Huck Funeral Home in McConnelsville, where services will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, March 31.
