Elizabeth L. Dean 96, of 2778 N. Riverview Rd. Malta passed away at 6 p.m. Monday, June 20, 2011 at her home. She was born November 6, 1914 in Nelsonville daughter of the late Edward Evans and Jennie Koeping. She was a cook at St. Anns Hospital in Nelsonville and moved to Malta in 1970. She was a member of the St. James Catholic Church in McConnelsville. She is survived by one son Gary (Barbara) Dean of Lancaster and three grandchildren. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband William S. Dean in 1997; two sisters, Katheryn Fishbaugh and Mary Davis; six brothers, Paul, Don, Joe, Harry, Chris and Charles Evans. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2011 at the St. James Catholic Church in McConnelsville with Reverend Father Paul Walker officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at a later date in Connett Cemetery near Nelsonville.
