Elmer W. Syx, 71, of McConnelsville, died Sunday, July 11, 2010 at the River Side Country Care Center in McConnelsville. He was born in Athens, Ohio on October 22, 1938 to the Late James E. and Grace Nice Syx. He was a member of the Mary Hammond workshop and a Faithful member of the Main Street Church of Christ in McConnelsville. His loving nursing home and church friends survive him. Visitation will be on Thursday, July 15, 2010 from 5-7:30p.m. With services following at 7:30p.m. With Evangelist Vernon Eldridge officiating. Burial will take place at a later date.
