Emily J. Ebersole, 81, of McConnelsville, passed away on Fri, July 7, 2023 at the Adams Lane Nursing Home in Zanesville.  She was born on Feb. 9, 1942 in Richmond, In, to the late Orval and Margaret Hackman Watts.  She worked as a Traffic Clerk for Malta Manufacturing in Malta, Oh and was a homemaker who loved raising her children.  She was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star.  She is survived by a son, Rick (Mary Ann) Ebersole of Zanesville, a daughter, Ronda (Mike) McCormick of McConnelsville, a brother, David Watts of Lewisburg, a sister, Shirley Drook of Richmond, In. and 2 grandsons, Matthew and Dylan Downs.  She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Richard Ebersole.  Services will be held on Tues, July 11, 2023 at 2:00 P.M. at the Matheney Funeral Home in McConnelsville with burial following in the McConnelsville Cemetery.  Friends may call on the family 1 hour prior to the services.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Genesis Hospice Foundation in Zanesville.  To send a note of condolence to the family go to www.matheneyfh.com.
