Emmett Leslie Cook, 51 of Chesterhill died, Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 12:00 P.M. at Lake Panasoffkee, Florida. He was born on April 21, 1960 in Cutler, Ohio to the Late Lloyd and Damsel Ramsey Cook. He was a cement finisher out of Local #132 in Columbus and attended the Mt. Olive Chapel in Amesville and also loved to hunt and fish. He is survived by his wife Kimberly Hutchins of the home, one step-son, Dana Hutchins of Beverly, Special Nephew, Devin Williams of Beverly, two step-daughters, Shala Morrow and Lacy Hoffett both of McConnelsville, one brother, Monte (Kay) Cook of Chesterhill, two sisters, Rhonda (Jeff) Tabler of Veto, and Brenda Spanks of Columbus, two step-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Greg. Services will be held on Friday, May 20, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the Mt Hermon Church near Amesville with Pastor J.R. Walker officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Hermon cemetery. Friends may call on the family on Thursday, May 19, 2011 from 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill and one hour prior to the services at the church.
