Eric L. Hill, 73, of Chesterhill, passed away Thurs. June 12, 2025 at his residence. He was born Jan. 23, 1952 to the late James "Olan" Hill and Juanita "June" Jenkins in Kilvert, OH. He retired from the Schell-Kraton Chemical Co. after 35 years. He loved his old cars and his motorcycles, and enjoyed pitching horse shoes. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Janis Gay Hill of the home; 2 daughters, Erica Hill of Parkersburg and Carrie (Merlin Sermon) Hill of Chesterhill; 2 brothers, Lee Hill of Malta and Calvin Hill of Heath; 2 sisters, Kay Hatzer of Worthington and Sue Hill of Chesterhill; 3 grandchildren, Shauntel, Dominike, and Tavin; and 2 great grandchildren, Chloe and Penelope.  He is preceded in death by his parents, and sister, LaDyne Mayle. Funeral Service will be held Thurs. June 19, 2025 at 11:00 A.M at Stone-Matheney Funeral Home in Chesterhill, burial following at Mt Hermon Cemetery in Amesville.
