Eugene N. Vandine, 78, of Stockport, died on Sat. May 10, 2013 at his residence. He was born on November 4, 1935 in Newport, Ohio to the late Lucius and Dortha Huff Vandine. He retired from the Panther Products Corporation in Harrisonville Missouri where he was a machinist supervisor foreman. He proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict in the U.S. Marines. He was an avid outdoorsman loving to golf, hunt, fish and work in his garden. He is survived by his wife Lottie Sagel Vandine of the home, 3 sons, Mike (Peggy) Vandine of Stockport, Tim (Melissa) Vandine of Zanesville and Rick (Dee) Vandine of McConnelsville, 2 daughters, Susie (Don) Jackson of Stockport and Carol (Tim) Martin of Dale, 2 brothers, Roy Vandine and Danny Vandine both of Stockport, 3 sisters, Verla Blind of Stockport, Erma Foster of Marietta and Patricia Groah of Stockport, 23 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren, 2 step-sons, Rob (Bev) Roberts of Archie Missouri and Larry (Tammy) Roberts of Stockton Missouri and 1 step-daughter, Susie (Kenney) Frash of Gallipolis. He is preceded in death by his parents, 1 brother, Dean, 2 grandchildren, Joey and Jason and a step-daughter, Peggy. Services will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 2:00P.M. at the Corner Stone South Church in McConnelsville with Pastor Steve Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Vandine Family Cemetery.
